A Warm Meal for a New Mother

Women in Kenya's rural community of Sega finally have a safe place to give birth. A new maternity unit has given mothers and babies skilled care for the past 3 years, but hasn't yet been able to provide the new Moms with meals. The little kitchen that was built at the same time as the maternity has been sitting empty because they can’t afford the initial set up cost of $900.

Goal4.org and members of the local community are working to have the kitchen running by January 1^st. Community members are donating what they can afford. Some are donating kitchen items and others are donating money.
